The name Zephyr characterises the prevailing wind that complements Marlborough’s unique ripening season. Zephyr wines embrace the dynamic spirit of the Glover family and the lively aromatics of the estate vineyards. The Glover family vineyards, planted in 1985 alongside the meandering Opawa River, have inspired the family’s passion for wine.

We had the A team create our Zephyr Blanc de blanc label with original artwork from our talented niece Emma .flanagan, designwork from Gary Stewart@gasproject and the finishing touch from Nicky Cooper .
While home on her summer break from the US, attending , Emma imbibed in a glass of the blanc de blanc with family and admired her artwork as the finished label on the bottle. She was pretty thrilled, the smile and laughs say it all! Pretty cool to work through the project with Em who together with Gary created a label we are so thrilled with – reflecting the organic life of the Zephyr vineyard; Homegrown: pure and simple.

Our Riesling has popped up in W**e Enthusiast’s “Best W**e for Every Type of Girls’ Night” named as their pick for a Mom Hang.

Described as bone-dry, bright and refreshing it received 92 points, with a nod to its purity, delicacy and distinctly Marlborough sense of place.

We reckon a long table, good people and a bottle of Riesling sounds pretty spot on.
