We have our bred heifers for sale. We have 101 total and they’re sorted up by calving dates of early to mid February, late February to early march, and mid march into April. It’s getting busy. We have 3 AI groups this year. We pull cdrs on group 1 and put cdrs in group 2 tomorrow. Pictured is group 2 at the bunk today and the “dynamic duo”; clean up bulls for the 3rd group, the 33 black white faced heifers. I’ll try to post some more videos pretty soon.

We started calving today. Yes it’s a little early, (thanks to an over eager bull last spring). We knew she was close, and had her in the lot. Thankfully it was a nice day and she got along fine on her own while we enjoyed Christmas with the kids. She has a nice bull calf and they are for sale. Merry Christmas!!

This is one of our polled Hereford bulls: “Red” that we bought from Mike Simpson at Redfield. He is running with 25 black heifers. We’ve used him on fall cows and cleanup on heifers but always with another bull. I’m really looking forward to getting calves out of him in March.

We did something a little different this year. We added a few red heifers to the group. I AI’d them to Pepe. Should be a good cross. If you like red heifers, they’ll be available in the fall.

Welcome to our bred heifer page. I’m going to try to update this page often with pictures and videos of the heifers and what’s going on throughout the process from buying the heifers, through pelvic measuring, breeding, ultra sounding , and selling. If you’ve bought heifers from us, I would love to hear from you in the comments and see some pictures if possible. Please forgive me if it takes me a while to manage this page well. I’m not very tech savvy but am excited about sharing our heifers and the process with you. If it’s not your thing, you can disregard it. No problem.
