Hi friends,

2025 was our smallest, tightest vintage yet — all in on a few beautiful coastal and mountain sites, so most of it will only be available direct from us.

Cool, steady weather from August 29 through October 21 gave us bright, clean fruit and we finished with Sonoma Mountain Cabernet at a classic 22° Brix — full flavor, lower alcohol. It’s a disciplined, restrained California year with energy in the whites and structure in the reds.

I’ll report back later this winter after barrel tasting and we can start talking 2026 releases.

Harvest update: Sonoma Mountain Cabernet hits the bins at dawn. Last fruit of this vintage. We waited out the rain and the grapes are beautiful and clean with the extra hang time.

As the weather turns, these two belong at your table—or by the fire.

2023 Mendocino Ridge Chardonnay
Mariah Vineyard, 2,400 ft. Dry-farmed nerves. Fog in, hard light out. Salt on the edge, stone through the middle, a straight line of lemon. Precise, cool, steady—built for the long meal.

2024 Mendocino Red Blend
Zinfandel & Carignan from old Redwood Valley rows. Blue fruit, quiet spice, soft tannin. Warm without shouting. Right with stew, roast chicken, or a wedge by the fire. Pour it on a cold night and let it work.
