Tessier Winery

Tessier Winery Handcrafted in Berkeley, 100% woman owned and operated. Since 2009

Created in 2009, Tessier is a micro w**ery handcrafting small lots of Pinot Noir, Grenache, Viognier, and soon Cabernet Franc. For w**emaker Kristie Tacey, sustainability is a priority, not only in choosing vineyards that incorporate such farming practices, but in the footprint the w**ery leaves in the community and in interactions with others. Her strong relationship with growers in Russian River Valley, the Santa Cruz Mountains, and El Dorado results in high quality fruit, and her minimal w**emaking approach allows the grapes and vineyards to speak for themselves. Annual production, though expanded since the inaugural vintage, is still only 600 cases, which allows for unparalleled attention to each w**e. You can find Tessier in a growing number of restaurants and shops in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Michigan, and via the Tessier Research Club.

2026 Harvest Recap: Tessierโ€™s 18 harvest and my 20th harvest! Crazy early start on August 6 with Cinsault grapes from El Dorado! Then onto Monterey for Gewurztraminer and finally to Sumu Kaw in El Dorado for Marsanne, Viognier and Roussanne. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก It went quickly and we were in barrel by Labor Day! ๐Ÿ˜Ž Thanks to all that were a part of it. It feels special to get grapes and make w**e in these challenging times. Stay tuned for our Nouveau coming in November. ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜
