It’s been a busy couple weeks on the farm taking in seed potato deliveries. In this video, we show two different ways we unload and transfer seed potatoes into storage boxes, where they’ll stay until it’s time to cut and plant. From handling bulk deliveries to carefully filling the boxes, it’s all about keeping the seed in good condition for the upcoming season. Lots of moving parts, teamwork, and equipment in action as we get ready for planting!

We are seeking a Farm Equipment Operator / Mechanic whose responsibility would be operating, maintaining, and repairing farm equipment, including tractors, planters, tillage, trucks and harvesting equipment.

Key Responsibilities
• Be responsible for operating, maintaining, servicing and repairing farm equipment
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment
• Follow all instructions on daily tasks
• Keep accurate and detailed records for all repairs
• Assist and assure effective inventory control within company requirements
• Repair equipment in the field

Special Demands
• Heavy-duty, operational, mechanical, and technical hands-on responsibilities
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, kneel, and bend
• Frequently required to lift or move more than 50 pounds
• Outdoor work environment, including heights and inclement weather
• Weekend availability required.
