July 11-19th! Y'all come!

Beginning July 11th the South Carolina Sunflower Fest kicks off as one of the most stunning festivals anywhere in the Palmetto State! Held at Denver Downs Farm in Anderson, South Carolina, this bright summer event takes place July 11–12 and July 18–19, running Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The farm fills with thousands of sunflowers across more than 12 varieties, giving visitors plenty of room to wander the fields, snap photos, and pick blooms to take home. Guests can choose a pick-your-own sunflower option, add a Bloomin’ Bucket for extra flowers, or grab a keepsake jar as a smaller souvenir from the day.

The festival also brings specialty photo spots, including the Sunflower Swing, along with friendly farm animals, ziplines, slides, and more than 30 farm attractions for families. Food is part of the fun too, with lunch items, sweets, treats, lemonade, cold beer, wine, Wine Frozés, and a summer sangria special at the Silo Bar. Denver Downs adds even more character to the day, since the Garrison family has owned the farm since 1869, and the historic farmstead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. What began as a cotton farm later became a dairy farm, and today it remains a working farm known for agritourism and seasonal events. Visitors can bring friends, family, and dogs for a full day of flowers, food, music, farm fun, and some of the prettiest photo backdrops of the summer!
