Here are the next 2 small flock processing dates. August 26th and September 30th. Things to remember:

- Must EMAIL us with your name, phone number and address and how many birds you plan to bring.
- Maximum number of birds is 15
- All birds will be processed whole
- You must bring in crates
- You must bring a cooler large enough with your name on it and ice inside
- You must drop your birds off and you will be called when they are ready, you cannot remain on the premises

I believe these 2 ladies were preparing to move to the Artic. With the fat layer they had they definitely were not getting cold. We packaged 307lbs of extra fat between these two.

Any guesses on their weights?

Small Flock Processing Day

We are going to do the first Small Flock Processing day on June 24th. Here are the specifics and what you will need to do to participate.

- Limited to 15 birds per customer
- You must bring your birds to our location in Archdale and you must provide and leave secure cages
- You must bring a cooler adaquate to hold your processed birds with ice.
- You will be given a time to drop off. You are not permitted to remain on the premises (there are many coffee shops, restaurants and such near by) and will be called when your order is ready
- Only whole birds will be processed, no breaking down.
- Chickens only, if you have ducks or geese they will not be plucked, just skinned and pull breast meat out
- Cost is $12 per bird.
- You will receive back a whole bird, hearts, livers, feet and necks all vacuum sealed and labeld
- Birds will be processed fully in order they come in.
- Payment must be in cash or check

**** If we do not receive enough interest this day will be canceled. We are looking at doing another one on August 1st as well.

This will be first come first served with reservations. If you want to reserve a spot you must send an email with your name, phone number and how many birds you will bring. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS POST TO MAKE A RESERVATION!!!!!
