Ive spent the last month essentially working 3 jobs seven days a week. Exhausted isnt even the word and that doesn't include the farm. Im tying so hard to fit in all that spring stuff that we all do. Then I realize its June. Where is the time going?

Loki is an incredible boy. He truly has the BEST personality especially for a male bird. Hands down his breeder is PHENEMONAL. Im patiently waiting for the day I have some eggs from this group. Because I know they'll have some beautiful babies. Theyre sourced from three(going to be four) breeders once our babies are added to the flock. A great start for our foundation.

Isn't she THE cutest thing you have ever seen??? Her little bug eyes get me every time 🤣 people always talk about chicken math, but duck multiplication is so much worse. I dont NEED her but right now shes a "spare" until I hatch someone to go home with her. LOL

Some how we made it to friday!
I have been so busy around here im loosing track of time seriously. I finished baby proofing crissonts cage to use it for grow outs and random odds and ends at the moment. Crissonts house in the sebastopols cage got some temporary repairs. It still needs to be replaced. Then I decided last night him and the girls werent sleeping in it, and I carried all three back into the sebastopol coop for bed. Evicted a brooder of chicks from the house(with the turkeys two days ago). I planted the majority of the vegetables, but have greens and flowers to get done. Mowed the lawn. Hurt my hip over doing life. I sort of want to cry at the moment. Im so tired of hurting 😭 but I dont have it in me to have a knee replacement.

Ugh wish me luck. For like day to day life at this point.
