About 18 months ago we had a huge flood inside our home in Maine rendering our whole house uninhabitable. It feels like it has taken forever, but our rebuild is complete and we are finally back in our happy place!! I’ll post some more pics of the before and after from the remodel so you can see just what we had to deal with, but for now here’s some happy pics from the last couple weeks. I’m hosting a small-group Alaska experience this August and it’s going to be unlike anything I’ve done before. My friends over at have invited me up for the week and I hope some of you can join me. Here is a tiny snapshot of what’s in store:

August 15–19

Over several days we’ll:
• Explore LeConte Glacier by boat
• Watch bears in the wild
• Fish Alaskan waters
• Kayak, hike, and cave explore
• Forage ingredients from the rainforest
• Harvest crab + shrimp together
• Cook unforgettable meals from what we gather

The goal is simple:
slow down, reconnect with nature, learn, explore, and share incredible food in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

This is intentionally intimate and spots are EXTREMELY limited.

I’ll put a contact link in the comments so you can book a spot before it fills up. This is gonna be amazing, and I can’t wait to see y’all at the lodge!

13 years ago today we opened ! A restaurant committed to breaking down the walls of fine dining (literally) and constantly evolving alongside the talented people who chose to be a part of the team. We have had so many incredible team members over the years, and just as many wonderful guests who have chosen to share an evening with us. I feel confident in saying that Gunshow 2026 is far better than it was when it opened back in 2013 and that is 100% attributable to the people working there who carry the torch and continue to believe in what makes this tiny little restaurant special! I cannot possibly thank you all enough. Happy Birthday!!

I know I tend to paint the same couple places over and over, but it’s just that I can’t get over how beautiful the world is right outside my door!
