Picked up a couple cages to use for getting the bantam cochins used to being in cages while at shows. Best thing was they were free, so I just need to order tables to set them on.

Penny and Peter were excited to be outside today since they didn't go out yesterday due to some rain 🌧 and I was unsure how much we were going to get, so extra cookies 🍪 in the stalls for them.

Prime example of why I sometimes have 2 chains ⛓️ on gates 😆 And yes, I'm going to blame Banana and Juniper this time ⏲️ for unlocking one of the chains well more Juniper since she was raised with my gelding Sailor Boy and he was always getting into trouble. And it just makes me laugh that she takes after him.

So happy 😊 to be done cleaning out the bantam cochin pens.

They are happy too, since so far 5 out of the 7 growouts have made the first cut for the upcoming show next month. But I'm still keeping a close eye on the 2 cockerels, they just might need extra time to mature.
