Saturday was an epic day planting 700 Christmas trees. It took this experienced crew 3 hours to auger, plant, and mulch the trees. Korean, Balsam and Frasier Firs. Thanks to Atlanta, Willow, Bill, Chris, Geoff, Leslie, Jim, Lauren, Katie, Lianna, Justin, Jenna, and Biscuit!

We ended the day with tacos & margaritas -- full bellies for all.

Testing out my new John Deere Ego battery powered mower. It runs & cuts really well and I really appreciated the quiet. In the photo, I'm charging the batteries from my truck.

Also shown is my prototype tree fertilizer. I drove along the trees and dispensing a precise amount of fertilizer with the push of a button. This is a major upgrade to my past fertilizing method of walking up and down the trees with buckets -- that was hard on my back and very time consuming. This method, not counting concocting my machine, took about 9 hours to fertilize 5,000 trees.
