EBT Announcement!!!

We can now accept EBT cards at the farm when purchasing bison meat. It took longer than planned to start offering, but we made it.

Unfortunately, we don't have a way to accept EBT for online orders. That is a highly regulated function.

If you're at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market and want to use EBT benefits to purchase meat or other items, you need to go to the main office and purchase tokens with your EBT card. The tokens can then be spent with vendors. The tokens allow vendors to accept EBT without the special equipment and provides greater accessibility.

Hi all

I’m looking for a dedicated farmer’s market person. Dedicated meaning every weekend. The Kalamazoo Farmers Market is 7 am to 1pm in the summer and 8 am to 1 pm in the winter. It’s an early morning. What a hot week for the 4th! Hope you have a good one and stay cool! We just added an additional processing date on July 20th for halves and quarters. Hi everybody!

1. No calves yet. If you want to post new guesses because they're much later than expected, please do. Last summer was very hot and humid and looks they got bred later than we thought.

2. Marrow bones and soup bones are buy one get one FREE! They're great for making bone broth (very healthy) and giving to the dog as a treat. We usually sell out of these at the farmers market, but aren't there this summer. Bonus for you thru June 10th!

3. The weather is finally nice out and we're feeding the bison every Saturday if you'd like to come out and say hi to the herd:) If you'd like to come please send us an email or text so we know. 269-430-3250, [email protected].

******Market Update: We won't be at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market this summer 😞. We hoped to maintain a presence there, but it's not going to work this year. If you're a past customer and would like to order online, please let us know and we can look at setting up a monthly or bi-monthly pick up in the market parking lot. If you have questions, let us know.
