Dear Customers,

After a wonderful run, Our Father’s Farm will officially end milking season on October 25th. This decision was not made lightly, as we have really enjoyed serving the community with fresh, quality milk.
There are multiple factors that helped us come to this decision: (1)our girls are no longer producing enough to warrant the time and expense it takes every day to continue the milking process; (2) we’ve been unable to travel to Maryland to check in on our elderly parents since we began milking because we have no one to “fill in” for us; and (3) as we began discussing the possibility of closing this door, we coincidentally received a warning letter from the Ag Dept. stating that our milk labels aren’t in compliance with state regulations.
We feel like this “timing” gave us the clarity we’ve praying for.

We want to thank you for your support and loyalty. It has been a true privilege serving this community. If you have questions, please private message us. Thank you, again, for being part of our journey.

***Please note the new label you will be seeing on our milk jars. After sending in 1/2 dozen proposed labels, this is the only one that the Dept. of Agriculture would approve. 🙃

will probably set me back a little, as far as baking goes.
I will be spending the next few days resting and recuperating.

We will still have plenty of raw milk and fresh eggs every day.
