The news is all a buzz about food these days. Is it healthy? Is it safe? Where does it come from??? So many questions. Here at Have More, we know. We don't guess we know. We know what our hogs have been feed, we know that our chickens ate bugs and took dirt baths before they became dinner. Our laying hens are the same. The veggies we have are grown from the ground that was fed compost made from the animals here on the farm. When America fed itself during the 30's,40's50's all the up to the 80's there were small farms like ours in every community. We sold locally and sent to the large cities. Each community supported itself and the large cities. And yet we keep hearing that food has to be grown the way it is now to feed the world. But what if the truth is that is a lie. What if we started right here today and went local and began to fill our cupboard with foods for Joes Garden and Larry field and our freezers from the butcher shops that are all around us. The food is safe heck your neighbors have been living off of it. We can't offer you the cheapest solution cause like you we too have bills but what we can offer is security in knowing where the food you are eating came from. And today that's probably worth its weight in gold.

Looks like rain again for tomorrow! We had hoped to attend Bluffton Indiana Farmers Market but with rain ning rolling in we decided to stay home and just prep and be ready to see everyone for our Saturday bake sale! The kids are looking forward to helping you! Baked goods, veggies, eggs and of course tasty pastured poultry. We plan to do this every Saturday until it's just too cold!

Baked goods and treats that will be available:

Crispy Rice Treats
Chocolate chip cookies
Chippy cookie sandwichs
Cake pops (vanilla)
Sandwich bread
Garlic rolls
Cinnamon rolls
Zucchini bread and muffins
Trashy treat

Veggies:

Tomatoes
Cucumbers
Zucchini

Pastured poultry:

Whole birds
