🚧 Construction Notice – HMR Water District 🚧

📢 UPDATE: Due to a scheduling change, this work has been rescheduled to Wednesday, August 5th.

The High Meadow Ranch Water District has scheduled construction work for Wednesday, August 5th, to raise valve risers and install concrete protection pads so they match the road grade.

The work will take place at the following intersections:
📍 Hawk Path & Blackhawk Trail
📍 North Sioux & Blackhawk Trail
📍 South Sioux & Blackhawk Trail

This project is being completed by and for the High Meadow Ranch Water District. The contractor does not anticipate closing the road. Work will be limited to the immediate work areas, so please slow down, use caution, and watch for workers and equipment if you are traveling through these intersections.

After the work is completed, traffic cones will remain around the valve risers for approximately 48 hours while the concrete cures. Please avoid disturbing the cones or driving over the newly poured concrete during this time.

***Meadowlark Road Update***

We have some great news to share!

Many of you have asked about the section of Meadowlark Road between the Meadowlark/Iroquois intersection and Blair Road. We have been researching who was responsible for maintaining this stretch, and we’re happy to report that the question has now been resolved.

On June 16, 2026, the Sublette County Commissioners signed a resolution officially extending this portion of Meadowlark as a county road. Going forward, Sublette County will be responsible for maintaining and snow plowing this section.

To keep everything running smoothly, the HOA has instructed our contractor to begin road maintenance and snow plowing where the county’s maintenance ends, ensuring continuous service throughout the subdivision.

🚜 Road Maintenance Update 🚜

Our contractor has informed us that the magnesium chloride (mag) application was not completed this week as originally planned.
It has now been rescheduled for:

📅 Tuesday, June 30 – Merrimac, Shoshone, and Cheyenne�📅 Thursday, July 2 – Iroquois, Sauk area

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to improve our roads.

Once the mag has been applied, please slow down and drive responsibly. Driving at excessive speeds creates washboards and causes the treatment to break down much more quickly. Slower speeds allow the magnesium chloride to properly adhere to the road surface, helping it last longer and keeping our roads in better condition for everyone.

🚜 Road Work Update 🚜
June 19, 2026

Our contractor has notified us that the majority of the road work is now complete, with only some minor fine-tuning remaining. Crews will return on Monday, June 22, to address a few final areas.

Magnesium chloride (Mag) application is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, on Merrimac, Shoshone, and Cheyenne. An additional load of material is also scheduled to arrive on Thursday for the Iroquois/Sauk area.

Thank you for your patience throughout this project and for your cooperation while the work was being completed. We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we continue working to improve and maintain our roads.

As a reminder, the condition of our roads depends not only on maintenance but also on how they are used. Excessive speed on gravel roads is one of the primary causes of washboarding and road deterioration. Please help protect the investment we have all made in these improvements by driving responsibly, slowing down, and encouraging your family members and guests to do the same.

🚧 Construction Update – Merrimac Trail 🚧

A water tap installation is currently underway at 19 Merrimac Trail and is expected to be completed tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16.

Traffic is not being stopped, but the road is currently reduced to one lane, so please use caution when traveling through the area.

In addition, power lines will be installed at the same address on Friday, June 19. This work will require crews to dig across the roadway, and traffic will be impacted. If everything goes as planned, the contractor anticipates completing the work by noon.

We would also like to remind everyone to use extreme caution around construction zones. There have been a few recent incidents where individuals have moved construction barriers and driven around them. This is absolutely not permitted. These barriers are in place for the safety of both motorists and construction workers.

Please be aware that if you choose to bypass barricades and your vehicle is damaged as a result, or a contractor is injured, that responsibility falls on you—not the contractor.

As the weather gets nicer and more people are out enjoying the community, we'd like to remind everyone to be respectful of their neighbors and our roads.

We've received concerns regarding dirt bikes and other vehicles being operated at high speeds on subdivision roads, excessive noise, and activities that can damage road surfaces. Our roads are a shared community resource, and spinning tires, creating ruts, and excessive speeding can increase maintenance costs that are ultimately borne by all property owners.

Please remember that the HOA does not have the authority to enforce traffic laws or issue citations. Matters involving speeding, reckless driving, and vehicle operation fall under the jurisdiction of law enforcement. Residents who witness unsafe or unlawful behavior should report it directly to law enforcement.

Let's all do our part to keep High Meadow Ranch safe, enjoyable, and respectful for everyone who lives here.

A contractor has notified us that the road will be temporarilly closed tomorrow, June 3rd, by the intersection of Blackhawk Trail and Sauk Trail to allow for the installation and of a water tap.

Please plan accordingly and use alternate routes if necessary. We appreciate everyone's patience while this work is completed and apologize for any inconvenience.

Please be advised that there will be random road closures on various days/areas over the next week. Following that, spring road work will begin. We will update as needed on here and our website. We appreciate your patience and ask that you use caution and plan to reroute from your normal route at times. Please drive with caution and slowly as work begins.
