Essence was about family for me, the family that showed up and supported. Daughter, son, mother and sis who all chipped in and made it work. It was not easy, a lot of work but together we made it work. I’m thankful for my family and love them way more than I can ever express, I’ve said it before and I will say it again, thank you fam…YAMAAS!

Philly part deux! YAMAAS! Represented well Sunday at African Restaurant Week in Philly. The customers, the music, the food, the vendors, the vibe! Don’t miss this event next year, it was worth staying an extra day. Thank you for all the love Philly!

YAMAAS! Showed up in Philly this weekend and had a blast! Got to connect with new customers on Saturday at the Wine + Culture Fest at BOK, met some really good people, ate good food and the fire side chats moderated by Tahiirah Habibi | Soft Lux / Wine Culture Expert and Tashira Halyard with Jade Novah, and some great chefs were giving me life! Thank you for having us at this wonderful event and hope to see you all again at the next one

completed! YAMAAS represented and a time was had by all. Late posts but there was a lot going on. Great job to the staff Maxwell, Amanda, mom and sis for all showing up and getting it done. Met a lot of great people had a blast and ready for Essence fest 2027!
