Dum-Dums are made in the USA, kosher certified and free of major allergens. Dum-Dums lollipops were first made in 1924 at the Akron Candy Company in Akron, Ohio. In 1953, the Spangler Candy Company purchased the Dum-Dums business from the Akron Candy Company and moved the operation to their pre-existing location in Bryan, Ohio. In the first year, Spangler made 1,000 TONS of Dum-Dums. Today, with 1
