What an incredible week at the Texas State Fair Zebu Show! 🐂✨

I am bursting with pride for Ben and Asher. They both showed 6-month-old bulls that they halter-broke and trained themselves! With only a month to prepare and busy schedules they were only able to work with the cows a few times a week. But they showed up and put in the work and looked great in the show ring.

This was only my second time showing cows, and our 2-year-old bull (bred by Shawn Hester) won his class both days and brought home Reserve Champion Sr. Bull in the club show today! 🏆

A huge shoutout and thank you to Patrick Pj Jones for taking off work to help me get the cows moved in and washed, Monday. Thank you to Shawn and Bryce for answering my questions and being such fantastic mentors. I may have the Cattle Show bug now.

The Zebu community is truly second to none. I made so many wonderful new friends and had an unforgettable time! Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. I can't wait till next time!
