Bare Roots Family Farm Bare Roots Family Farm was established in 2016. We sell pastured, GMO free Chicken, Pork, Beef & Eggs We also have pasture raised Duck and Chicken eggs.

Bare Roots Family Farm is a small family farm established in 2016. It all came from wanting to feed our family better, healthier food...and from there, we grew!! We offer ethically raised meats...Pork, Chicken, Beef and Duck. All animals are raised on our clean pastures (never any pesticides, herbicides, etc.) and are supplemented with locally sourced (Greenwich, NY) GMO free grains! We also offer pork halves and wholes, and beef sides and quarters a few times a year. keep an eye on our FB page and we'll advertise when they are available. Don't forget about your Thanksgiving Turkey! In the Spring we have piglets and chicks available for purchase as well. You can come see us at the farm, or one of our farmers markets. In 2022 we hope to have our greenhouse up and running so we can share some lovely veggies as well. We also hope to be able to to have your families visit us for a farm tour...we may even have some classes for you to participate in...Stay tuned�

I've updated the inventory list to the best of my ability 🤣 Pre-orders for today need to be in by noon.

We're also doing deliveries tomorrow (Thursday).
So, if you need delivery; to our Rensselaer drop, or within 25 miles of the farm, get your order in by 1pm Thursday.

We'd like to introduce you to the newest members of our crazy four-legged family!

Meet the crew... Their names have been changed to protect their identities 😉

Let's call them... Billie, Betty, Black-Jack, Big Boy, Brenda, and Grandma!

These guys needed a new start... They're previous owners weren't able to give them what they needed to live the life they deserved. So, Mr. Bare Roots, being the softy that he is 🤣 decided they should come here to begin again... I did agree to it, incase you're wondering!

They've been here just under 2 months now and are doing well... They're all definitely putting weight back on! They are getting used to us and becoming friendlier by the day💗

**No, we are not a rescue. No, we are not looking to take in anymore creatures! With the situation being what it was, we knew we could help these guys, and wouldn't feel right turning our backs on them😊
