Patriot Ridge Farm

10/11/2026

Patriot Ridge Farm is growing and that means the need for added team members!

At this time we are looking to add 1-2 additional part time farm hands. Horse experience is required. This position is currently looking to fill weekends ( sat, sun, mon) am and pm shifts, with the availability to pick up additional shifts here and there.

This is an outside, all weather, all holidays job. Duties include but aren’t limited to feeding, watering, cleaning stalls, turn in and turn out, refilling all water troughs and daily farm maintenance and horse husbandry!

Pay is based on experience, must have transportation and be reliable.

Available for IN BARN lease.

Twice the Magic, “Emma”

Emma is a small (think large pony size) 2005 TB mare. Available only for on property half or full lease. Capable of doing the walk trot job and up for a capable and soft advanced beginner.

Emma brought her previous kid up to the 2’6 and she now has her own big chestnut guy, so this sweet girl is looking for her next person. Currently used in our lesson program and will require leasee to remain in lessons.

Contact me for more information.

No groom in sight.

We ventured down to Stable View for the TIP Championship show. Professional photos to come soon, but first a "behind the scenes" brag on these kids. Late nights and early mornings, doing it all on our own and leaving with a Best Turned Out in one ring. Proud is an understatement.

A huge congratulations to our very first college rider on a blue at her very first IHSA show, riding for Sweet Briar! We are so proud of you Jazzy J!

Gateway Show Series is looking at their prize list for next year ... that means we're coming back for a second year!

To my local thoroughbred folks - would you be interested in seeing a TB only hunter division on the Gateway prize list next year? Looking ahead as TIP award applications are due soon!!

Green flags in your barn mates. 🟢🐴

The people you surround yourself with matter. They should celebrate your wins, make the hard days more fun, and want to see you succeed without needing your success to be smaller than theirs.

And honestly, I think these green flags apply just as well outside the barn.

Also, this photo pretty much sums it up. ❤️ Huge thanks to Tess Kirsity with National Horseman for capturing such an awesome moment. 📸

Tag a barn mate or friend who checks these boxes. 🟢👇
