We have had so much fun getting to know Lefty. He is so smart and athletic. He loves all the scratches and giving kisses. Gin has been an excellent momma and teaching him all the things.

Now that the dust has settled… We hosted our very first CT2V competition this past weekend and everyone had a great time.

Thank you to Brandy Von Holten, Author/Speaker/Instructor for answering all the questions and staying patient with me as I worked through the process of the competition.

Thank you to all the competitors for showing up and participating, we appreciate you! Please invite your friends and colleagues to the next one.

Thank you to all the volunteers that put in hours outside of the competition to help it run smoothly.

Thank you to my Husband, Michael and our daughters for supporting me in this endeavor.

This horse is the heart ❤️ of my program and has been apart of so many people’s lives. Audrey (my student and competitor) arrived early to sign up for her class and patiently waited for her time to shine ✨ and boy did she shine. Thank you to all who made this show a success!

Why we do what we do is to create memories such as these. 🏆

Buckaroo is our lead line division. Obstacles only. There are 10 obstacles. The buckaroo choose any 6 of those 10.

The reason we only do 6 is to ensure our Buckaroo competitors stay safe. Ex. A water box obstacle is extremely difficult for some horses. We wanted to have where the young riders are set up for 100% success.

Hay season officially started this week in between the rain. It will be nice to have a barn full of hay again. Michael and I spent the weekend prepping all the equipment.

It’s been a busy start to the summer, riding, church camps, basketball practice and swimming but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

This video is longer and unedited but it shows a small portion of how I go about building a relationship with the babies. Sitting and being present is a great start to a relationship. Lefty is such a sweet boy and is starting to get curious about his surroundings.

Gin and Lefty traveled to Springfield last week to re breed Gin on foal heat. We picked them up on Saturday. They were so happy to be home and turned back out.
