Some of the first generation Brahma Hybrid grow outs that will be heavily feathered and pullets will lay blue to light green eggs 😍❤️ 2nd - 3rd generation Roos will have the O/O gene and will pass it to all blue/olive laying hens, producing 100% blue and olive egg laying Brahmas no matter if they are hens or pullets!

Mottled Brahma Blue Egg Project
Welcome to our Mottled Brahma breeding project, where we are working to develop a beautiful, traditional Brahma that retains the breed’s impressive size, gentle disposition, and abundant feathering while introducing the blue egg gene into future generations.
Our goal is to produce birds that closely resemble classic Mottled Brahmas—with large frames, heavily feathered legs and feet, striking black-and-white mottling, and calm family-friendly temperaments—while carrying genetics that can produce offspring laying shades of blue, sage, mint, and light olive eggs.
We selectively breed for:
🪶 Heavy feathering on legs and feet🐓 Traditional Brahma type and size⚫⚪ Beautiful mottled coloration💙 Blue egg genetics in future generations🥚 Blue, green, and light olive egg potential🌿 Healthy, productive, and friendly birds
This is a long-term breeding program focused on combining the beauty and presence of the Brahma breed with the excitement of colorful egg baskets. Follow along as each generation moves us closer to a true feather-footed blue egg-laying Mottled Brahma.
