NEW State 28 Farm products are officially hitting shelves at Central Market stores across Texas and honestly… this moment feels surreal. These moments never get old. We’ve truly loved this food journey the past 2.5 years with Central Market.

What started as a small family farm in Canton, Texas with a dream, a garden, and a certified kitchen built right here on our farm has now grown into seeing our products stocked in stores all across the state (and across the country).

From loading pallets before sunrise… to walking the aisles and seeing our jars lined up on shelves at Central Market… these are the moments that remind us why we kept going through the hard seasons.

Some days on the farm feel heavy with uncertainty. The weather has been all over the place this season- too much rain, not enough rain, wild temperature swings, and constant worry over crops. Farming has a way of humbling you like that.

But then there are days like this.

A table overflowing with sun-ripened tomatoes in every shape and color imaginable. Deep purples, fiery reds, golden yellows, striped heirlooms, tiny sweet cherries… each one grown slowly and carefully from seed. And tucked away in the garden, these beautiful purple beans hanging quietly from the vines like little jewels.

Simple beauty & simple abundance.

The kind that makes you stop for a moment and truly appreciate what’s in front of you.

In a world that constantly pushes for more, faster, bigger… farming teaches gratitude for enough. For a good harvest. For healthy plants. For dirt-covered hands and baskets filled with food that nourishes people. For the privilege of growing something real.

These purple beans & purple bells are absolutely delicious, and the tomatoes taste like summer should. After all the stress and unpredictability lately, this harvest felt like a quiet reminder to slow down and appreciate the abundance that still exists all around us.

This week’s microgreen harvest includes five varieties, and here’s why your body will thank you:

🥦 Broccoli Microgreens

Our State 28 Farm Texas Bar Fight Boozy Jam Cocktail is bold, fruity, smooth and dangerously easy to make. Made with our best-selling Texas Bar Fight Boozy Jam loaded with blackberries, blueberries, bourbon & jalapeños.

Here’s how to make it:

Step 1: Add 2 big scoops of State 28 Farm Texas Bar Fight Boozy Jam into a cocktail shaker with ice.

Step 2: Pour in 1-2 shots of your favorite bourbon depending on the kind of day you’ve had. 😉
