We hope you’ll come to our 3rd annual Harvest Party at Carol Clement Saturday Oct. 10, from 12-4pm. Live music, stuff for da kids, and Chef Jo will be grilling lamb and chicken raised on the farm. We’ll be serving c***r (so predictable) and other bevvies, and the mountains will be serving some of the best views in the Catskills. Seriously, it’s so beautiful, and it’ll be Peak Leaf.

Heather Ridge Farm is located in Preston Hollow, about 30 mins from downtown Catskill. It’s a livestock farm stewarded thoughtfully by our friends Carol and John. It’s also where we harvest some of our favorite wild apples. Come celebrate the glory of the season with us!

Harvest started early! Even September is too soon for us, but wild pears are worth it.

Enjoyed a beautiful day w fall like weather with the Original crew of Tim Anna Dave Abe. Six years in and Abe’s almost climbing himself, and has as much experience as any of us. And then we had some great volunteers we took up to the same spot just a day later!

Really looking forward to this season. If you are interested in helping let us know with a message or email. We will be going out a lot, hopefully!

It’s beginning to look a lot like harvest 2026!!! As we get ready for another fruitful season, we realize we’ll need some extra hands this year… Want to join us?!

It’s labor but the fun kind of labor! On harvest days, you’ll spend the day with us in the mountains shaking trees and picking apples. We usually break for a 🫜simply adorable 🥖 picnic lunch. Oh and we will give you c***r!!

Join us THIS Sunday, July 12 at 2pm for a lecture with Jonathan Palmer, Greene County Historian. He’ll be leading a photographic lecture celebrating the 220th anniversary of the Village of Catskill! His slide show will feature early maps, documents, and photos discussing the history of the community that became the gateway to America’s first vacationland. Jonathan’s talks manage the difficult feat of being both extremely entertaining and educational. The lecture is free of charge, but donations to support the Greene County Historical Society are encouraged!

This Saturday is Catskill Yard Sale Day! It’s like Christmas for thrift store junkies. Basically a national holiday for some of us. To celebrate we’ll be hauling out our collection of books by former Northern Spy readers - a fire sale on these absolutely GEMS. Maybe some other random stuff from the storage room. It’s a yard sale!! Starting at NOON, so make us your last stop before you totally blow your yard sale budget.
