The orchard always has a ton of killdeer flying/running around - most days they are busy squawking at Ryan. Tonight while cleaning tree tubes and putting fertilizer on the chestnut trees, we can across these sweet babies! Loving all the signs of Spring!

We’re excited to share a new adventure growing right here at the ridge!

Petals at the Ridge is our family-run flower farm nestled among the chestnut trees at Chestnut Ridge Orchard, where flowers and farmland meet. From field to vase, every stem reflects the land we tend and the hands that grow it.

This season, we will be showcasing locally grown, seasonal blooms— offering cut flower stems, garden-style bouquets, and carefully cultivated dahlia tubers, all grown with care on our family farm with a deep respect for the soil, the seasons, and the simple joy of growing something beautiful together.

Join us at the Missouri Chestnut Roast Festival on Saturday, October 18 to try FOUR agroforestry fruit- and nut- flavored ice creams prepared by Buck's Ice Cream! Pawpaw, chestnut, elderberry, and black walnut scoops will be available for purchase. Thank you to Buck’s and the Mizzou Food Science students for their creativity to bring you these unique agroforestry-inspired flavors.
