Yesterday, ESW Mr. Dapples was introduced to the doe herd for his first season. He is 18 months old and we are eager to see how he performs! We will plan to have kids on the ground around the 3rd week of January and begin selling around the end of April. Cheers to a happy, healthy breeding season! 🐐

Rare opportunity!

We have 3 adult Kiko wethers looking for greener pastures. They were born in February of 2023 from our health tested herd and have been used for land clearing since then. Super friendly despite being hands off and no grain.

Let’s talk about fairy eggs! 🥚

A fairy egg is an unusually small chicken egg. They might be laid during cycle changes (such as a pullet beginning a laying cycle, or an older hen ending a laying cycle), nutrition changes or periods of stress.

Although they may look funny, and may or may not include an egg yolk, fairy eggs are safe to eat! 🍽️

Once in a while we will get 1 in the nest box, which typically goes to spoil one of the LGDs. 🤭This one was actually pretty big for a fairy egg.
