Not a bad day for the Targhees yesterday at the Wisconsin State Fair! Highlight of the day was the Reserve Champion Ewe with a fall born ewe lamb that goes back to one of my cousin Abby's (original JAM Targhees herdsman) favorite futurity ewes, Plum!

Another National Targhee Show and Sale is in the books! Big thank you to all the buyers and contending bidders on the JAM sheep. We averaged just over $1,000 per head in the sale today!

Thank you to the people that put this on this weekend! It takes a lot of people and a lot of work to put these events on! Truly appreciate everyone who works together to get these organized! What a great weekend in Huron celebrating 100 years of Targhee sheep and 75 years of the USTSA!

Pretty good day in the ring! 1st place Fall Ram Lamb was the highlight! The ewes didn't stand as high in their classes but all 4 sheep had some tough competition today! Congrats to all on their consignments today! Great set of Targhee sheep here at the National Show and Sale!
