The pollinators are happy with my mistake! After learning that our location is zone 6b from the master gardeners in the area and not zone 7a, I decided to let the Spanish Lavender bloom this year. It will not survive the winter so we shall all enjoy it today.

First time beekeeper mistake…we were supposed to rub honey on the top of the frame of the second box to guide them where to build. But the cross comb wave is super cool looking!
