Anyone interested in silkie roosters? They wouldn’t do too hot free ranging around the farm here without decent supervision because they can’t see well with those feathers in their eyes. there is tractors and equipment I have to worry about them being in the way of… which is why they stay in the coop/ run for us. They would likely do great in a bigger fenced in area or free ranging in a big yard without so much commotion. And of course they’re bothering all the hens 🤪 they’re about a year old, have had them since they were chicks. Trying to be a hen only zone around here, we don’t need anymore chicks anytime soon, so they’re looking for a new flock to join.
