🇺🇸 TEAM COLORADO MADE ITS VOICE HEARD IN D.C.! 🇺🇸

Our Colorado delegation traveled to Capitol Hill to share our opposition to including the Save Our Bacon Act in the Farm Bill.

During the Senate Agriculture Committee meeting, Senator Joni Ernst sought a vote to add the SOB Act, but the amendment was not brought to a vote. The committee advanced the Farm Bill without it.

Senators Amy Klobuchar, Dick Durbin, Tina Smith, Roger Marshall, Michael Bennet and John Fetterman supported keeping the SOB Act out. Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer also expressed his support. Our meetings made a difference!

The process isn’t finished, and Team Colorado will remain involved. Here we are again—with even more members of Team Colorado!

Yesterday was a pretty monumental day for Podunk’s Ranch. ❤️🥩✈️

For the first time, Podunk’s Ranch beef left Cortez by airplane, headed to its new home in Taos, New Mexico!

Michael and Bill flew in to pick up their beef, but we made a little Southwest Colorado adventure out of it first — breakfast at Cattle Call Cafe, a stop at Yellow Jacket Livestock Auction, plenty of conversation about cattle, ranching and the beef industry, and then back to load the plane.

There was something pretty special about standing on the runway watching boxes of beef that were raised right here on our ranch get loaded into an airplane.

What started small continues to take me places I never imagined — and apparently, now the beef flies. 😂✈️

Thank you, Michael and Bill, for making the trip, for the great company, and most of all for choosing to support a small Colorado rancher.

Every month we have the opportunity to load this Care and Share mobile food pantry. Chris, they're kind wonderful driver and distributor travels to our low income low access areas and distribute a number of farm and ranch products. Podunk's Ranch is honored to be a part of the route.
The mobile food truck works off grants and donations. If you'd like to assist in donating please reach out and I will assist you in how to do so.

We are so blessed with good friends, thank you Janna and Chris Neely for over the top helping me get my pivot running and thank you Robert Vedsted for also helping complete the needed task to start irrigating with my pivot. Getting bucked off my horse and hurting myself was not the plan in this busy spring time. I am definitely full of gratitude for my sweet friends stopping their days to help me. 🙏
