Men are expected to carry a lot.
Be the provider.
Be the protector.
Be the leader.
Be the rock.
And somewhere along the way, many men started believing they had to carry it all alone.
So they stay silent.
They bury the stress.
They hide the anxiety.
They ignore the depression.
They numb the pain with alcohol, drugs, work, or distractions.
This Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s break that cycle.
Real strength isn’t pretending you’re okay.
Real strength is being honest enough to say, “I’m struggling.”
If that’s where you are today, ask for help.
Because suffering in silence isn’t strength.
Healing is.
