I met Kylee and the ponies up at the Washington State Horse Park for another wonderful dressage show.
My amazing sister Michelle Gomness came up to cheer on her boy and also brought our beautiful granddaughter to spend the weekend. We had a blast seeing so many amazing people and horses. It was cold and wild weather but we had a successful weekend and all of the ponies were amazing.
Our Section C stallion *Cwmtawe Royal Command won both of his classes at 1st 3 with qualifying scores and showed his talent for flying changes 😂
Our homebred Section D Mare Dream Fflight From SpringSong was fantastic. This was her second show ever and her disposition shined. She is such an amazing mare. She was 2nd to Gwen (my sisters Section D Cob Stallion, I will let her toot her own horn for him) Training 3 and 5th the following day, both qualifying scores and 2nd both days in Materiale with qualifying scores for the Breeders Championships. The first day was an incredible 78.6!!!!
All of the ponies represented the Welsh Ponies of Cob Type and Welsh Cobs very well and we made many amazing memories 💕
Thank you goes to Kylee McKereghan for doing a phenomenal job riding and training our ponies, my sister Michelle for all of your love and support, our 6 year old granddaughter for all of her cuddles, fun conversations and pony loves, Jessica Wisdom for all of your amazing friendship and coaching, Hulsebos Saddles US LLC for your amazing saddles for these chunky cobs and making sure they fit well, your support and friendship, Canter Culture Riding Apparel for keeping our rider beautifully turned out, Claire for all of your wonderful help, our amazing leader and phenomenal hubby for caring for the farm while we were gone and helping us unload at 2 in the morning from the long trip home.
To all of the wonderful friends at home who feed our pitties and check on the whole herd at home.
Thank you Equestrian Institute for putting on a wonderful show.
None of this would ever be possible with out each and every one of you!
