A group of youngins (had to Google how to properly spell that 😂) enjoying the green grass that's finally growing! Last fall we completed our cross fencing, and now that the grass is growing, we can finally start rotational grazing soon! 🙌🏼

Our baby Appaloosas had their first dental float (filing down their 🦷) in preparation for their upcoming training! Koda was the lucky recipient of "wolf teeth" that had to be removed, but overall they have a clean bill of health and are ready for their training in March.

Both Scout & Koda are the sweetest boys, and Dr. Penney thinks they'll be easy peasy to train. Can't wait to get them out on the trails and working these cows! 🤠

Our girl TJ was the first to get one of the new ear tags! I purchased these and my best friend engraved our logo on them with her 👉🏼 they turned out AMAZING!

I'm doing the names by hand with an engraving pen and I need a little more practice, but overall I'm very happy with these. Now it's time to get the rest of the herd outfitted in their new bling! 🙌🏼

⚠️ BIRTHING VIDEO

We didn't expect Lottie to have her baby until after the first of the year but this cold front brought her early! Needless to say it was a long night.

👉🏼 Fun fact, a change in barometric pressure can trigger labor!

🤍 After losing my mother on Christmas Eve, this burst of life is just what we needed! Her name is TJ and she'll be staying with us here on the farm.
