Learning Tree Farm

Learning Tree Farm A traditional, working farm that engages people in hands-on, nature-based education. Open to the public daily: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Monday to Saturday, and 12:30-4:00 p.m. Please understand that on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in spring and fall are our peak season for field trips; you are welcome to visit during these times and you will be able to jump in between our school visitors. General Admission is $5.00 per person (children under 2 are free) please pay by putting your admission in the box at the welcome sign acros

s from the parking lot. We highly recommend that groups of 10 or more call ahead so that we can help schedule your visit at a time that will assure your most pleasant experience. Members enjoy free admission any time; visit our website for more information. You are welcome to go in the woods, barns, pastures, and garden any time. However, when visiting outside of a scheduled class or field trip, please do not taste, pick or take home any of the fruits and vegetables growing in our educational garden. The bulk of it is essential to our educational programming, and we must have enough produce for every paying program participant. We thank you for your understanding! Parking in the grass and along the roadways is prohibited. Seasonal changes in weather make our fields and grounds soft and cars will get stuck. All cars must be parked in the established parking lot. If there are no parking spots available, consider the lot closed until a spot opens. Outreach:
It is Learning Tree Farm’s mission to provide hands-on learning experiences in a traditional farm setting. However, sometimes groups just can’t get to the farm. What if the farm came to you? From November through March (and limited summer dates) farm staff are available to create a program to meet your needs at your facility. We can align to academic standards and themes to add a new depth to your instruction or event. Some groups to enjoy these programs have been classrooms, church groups, live nativities, and festivals. Sheepherding is always a popular demonstration that will draw an audience to your event. For more information please email [email protected] with: your name, organization, your top dates for a visit, and an address. We look forward to serving the Miami Valley either here at the farm or at your site!
