Over 150 trucks at ADM wanting to dump corn…with $6.50 diesel burning. 😒

📢 Calling all cattle producers – we need your help!

Tell Congress and the White House to support American cattle producers, not actions that undercut them like importing foreign beef.

🌽 Farmer Friday | Evan Leeper, Macon County

Some farms are built over decades. Evan Leeper's has been in his family since the 1850s.

As a 5th-generation farmer in western Macon County, Evan grows corn, soybeans, wheat, hay, and raises Angus beef cattle alongside his father and brother-in-law.

Before coming back to the land, he served as an infantryman, and that same mindset of staying sharp and being prepared follows him into every season.

His advice to his younger self? Lean on God, your wife, and your family and never stop adapting. "Farming is a profession where the producer has very little to no say in input costs nor the grain market. Farm diversification and constant adaptation is one of the only ways to run a successful farm in 2026."
