When “lazy” isn’t really lazy…”
This Arabian wasn’t refusing to move because he lacked energy.
He was carrying so much tension that he couldn’t move freely.
A tense jaw creates a tense neck.
A tense neck creates tense shoulders.
And soon the whole body becomes tight.
Before asking for more speed or performance, we must first create relaxation.
If a horse isn’t relaxed and moving forward freely, training can’t truly begin.
That’s what we focus on in our clinics:
Softness. Forward motion. A solid foundation. 🐴
