We spent all day Wednesday piggling potatoes. An old British term, to piggle is to root up potatoes by hand. We got 5000 pounds out of the ground with only 3000 left to go!
The PGF online store just opened for Wednesday, August 19th delivery. We have lots of tomatoes, including bigger quantities to make sauce, literally tons of potatoes, green beans, eggplant, peppers as well as lettuces, Salanova, garlic, onions and beets.

Garlic Harvest 2026! 🧄🥵 We had a great garlic crew this year and got through all 8,000 heads yesterday! Fresh garlic is available now, and should be kept in the fridge. The rest of the garlic will cure for a few weeks in the barn. This allows the outer layers to dry and create a protective barrier allowing the garlic to be stored for months, saved for seed, and enjoyed year round!
