Been a while since I’ve done an update:
We’ve had a lot going on, so the social media sites had to be put on the back burner. I started a new full-time job this summer, and the training process has prevented me from making some of the Delta Farmers markets. It hasn’t failed, whenever I am able to make one of the markets, including this evening, it has stormed.
Rain+Soap=Bad
However, I am hoping to make at least another one or two Delta Farmers markets this season. So if you’re free tonight, head out and support the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce Delta Farmers Market from 4 pm to 7 pm! Stay dry!
As many of you who bought Bad Creek Barns soap from Top Me Off Refill Shop already know, that store closed recently. We are obviously bummed and will miss them sorely. However, despite the social media absence over the last few months, Bad Creek Barns is still alive, well, and producing! You can still get your BCB soaps at badcreekbarns.com.
Unfortunately, August will be the last month you can buy soap at The Good Vibe Guild in Swanton. Our soap is 20% off there if you want a good deal on our products! Renee has treated us well, but with everything going on at the farm, I needed to cut back on locations, markets, and shows for the time being. Again…. badcreekbarns.com!
Finally, I’ve been trying to get caught up on projects around the farm. I’ve had some success, but there is still lots to do! The great news is, I finally have a dedicated area for a soap studio on the farm now. There are a few more small projects to do before I can really start using it for soap production. It will probably be a few months before those two projects get completed. However, once we are over those obstacles, I am hoping to have the ability to produce, not only more soap, but a more consistent product as well. Having a dedicated area for soap making will also allow for more flexibility in my schedule to make it.
If you’re interested in some pet Nigerian dwarf goats. We do have two sweet little bucklings available. They would make great pets wethered. If you’re a breeder and need an ADGA-registered buck, they are both able to be registered.
Thanks to all of you that have continued to support us! Stay subscribed on here for future updates.
