I have put this off as long as possible but we can't put it off any longer. We have been in business three years with no price increases. Unfortunately we can't hold prices the same any longer. Our costs are up every where just like everybody else. Prices will increase May 1, so if you want to purchase at current prices, now is your chance. We have some exciting news!! In our second boil of the year we had a first here at TenKate Hill Maple. We were able to produce Golden Maple Syrup!! 🍁🍁🍁
Named for its appearance, Golden maple syrup is harvested at the beginning of the sugaring season. Previously referred to as "fancy," this syrup is notable for its thin consistency and relatively light, delicate, and mild flavor. With its notes of vanilla, the best uses for this syrup are geared toward desserts. For example, you can drizzle a bit of Golden maple syrup over a dish of your favorite brand vanilla ice cream.
Pints are available for a limited time at TenKateHillMaple.com We also now have available 4 pint samplers. We only have pints of this and when they are gone they are gone (until we make more 😉)!

We have been busy here at TenKate Hill Maple we started tapping Friday and did about 200 taps and some line work, 300 taps yesterday, and another 175 or so taps today. We also got the vacuum pump on today for the first time and no major leaks, which is always exciting at the beginning of a season! We have 675 of our 1,100 taps in and the vacuum on. Not much sap flowing yet, but it will come. Hoping to finish up tapping in the next few days!
