I’ve never been happily tired, but right now I am so happy and so tired. From attending this mornings Juneteenth Parade to putting on this years 3rd Annual Juneteenth Farm to Table Dinner. It feels good seeing and feeling my impact here in Charleston. I am so grateful to each and every person who attended this years dinner - let’s cheers to many more. My Juneteenth dinner is my pride and joy and bringing so many different people together through food is such a beautiful honor and experience to witness.
A special shout out to Chuck McGill the new executive director of the Capitol Market - Charleston, WV for working with me on this event. It really was such a pleasure meeting with him leading up to these dinners and getting to know one another. I look forward to many more dinners under your leadership. Thank you to our sponsors for adding to the success of the dinner WV Can't Wait WVU Center for Black Culture and Hedley & Bennett. Thank you to our in kind sponsors Chick-fil-A, The Purple Onion & WV Marketplace and Holl's Swiss Chocolates. We hope to continue to build these sponsors and donations overtime.
For now all I can say is thank you.
Talk soon, signing out till next week,
