Two weeks of watching these little ones explore our vineyard estate in the Dundee Hills of Oregon, and we’ve finally figured out who they are! 🌾✨ 

Meet the newest additions to our regenerative farming team: Popcorn and Pebbles!  

We spent the last 14 days watching their twin lamb personalities come alive. One of them couldn’t stop bouncing and jumping around the pasture - so naturally, she had to be Popcorn.🍿 The other is just pure, gentle sweetness, making her the perfect Pebbles. 🐑❤️ 

They are already bringing so much joy to the estate!

Mid-May in the Estate Vineyard: The Race to the Sun ☀️🌱 

Right now at our single-vineyard estate in the Dundee Hills of Oregon, our fruit shoots are racing upward. But as they grow taller, they become top-heavy and incredibly vulnerable to the spring winds. 💨 

To protect them, the farming team is moving the trellis wires down to the first position. Think of this wire as the skeleton - the foundation that trains the shoots to grow perfectly straight. 

By tucking them in, we do two critical things: 

1. Ensure Upward Growth: Keeping the canopy organized so the leaves get maximum sunlight. ☀️ 

2. Promote Airflow: Allowing that beautiful Dundee Hills breeze to sweep through the rows, which naturally prevents mildew and keeps the canopy clean and healthy. 🍃 

It’s all about laying the groundwork now for a healthy, vibrant 2026 vintage. 🍇✨

🐝 Bee Navigation: Why Bees Need A Postal Code📍 

Ever wonder why LucidWild Estate’s bee boxes have different colors and shapes painted on the boxes? It turns out, bees need a high-tech navigation system just like the rest of us.  

To prevent “drifting” - where exhausted foraging bees accidentally fly into the wrong front door - we use a custom system of blues, yellows, reds, greens and distinct symbols. Think of it as a postal code for every colony.  

Bees don’t see the world exactly like we do, but they are experts at color and pattern recognition - specifically blues, yellows, and greens.  

This simple, intentional design detail prevents hive overcrowding and keeps the whole apiary incredibly healthy and productive.
