Well, here we go.
Today is my last official day at Wóyute. Next week I’ll be starting my new job as General Manager at Lakota Thrifty Mart.
I’m excited about this next chapter and the opportunity to work on food security and food access on a much bigger scale.
I’m so proud of what we built at Wóyute. Food security has always been really important to me and so much of what we’ve done here has been about making good food more accessible and building something for our community. That part isn’t changing for me.
Wóyute2Go is going to be in the best hands with Amanda at the helm and Tiarah returning to keep things moving forward!
We’ll be changing a few things up, including discontinuing breakfast, but there’s something new and exciting in the works along with our everyday lunch specials. The groceries as we know it will be phased out, but the apothecary will remain.
I’m thankful for everyone who has supported Wóyute, trusting us to feed you, provide you with good food and for your continued belief in what we were trying to do.
Toksa ake wačíyankin kte, it’s not goodbye, you’ll definitely see me around.
