Hello August on the Farm!
It’s been full on summertime, and as always, the farm is hopping. Bows had her piglets just over a week ago, and after a few fraught days where she did not have enough milk to feed them, she’s feeling much better and we have split the litter with her. Bows is raising 5, and we are bottle feeding the other 4….. they are all easy to visit along the farm walk.

We also have a new guy on the farm 😍 Olaf hails from Selah Washington, a handsome buck from SHUSH Boer Goats. He’s settling in and has two buddies to teach him about island life (Percy and Lorenzo).

Saturday and Sunday are great days to visit the farm! Petting Farm is open and there’s lots of ice cream and cheese and crackers!

Summer! Full on busy, grass is growing, lambs and kids are growing. The dairy is in full swing, there’s cheese everywhere!
Farm store is open Wed-Sunday 12-5
Petting farm
Saturday and Sunday!
And this weekend we’ve got some new special babies, just born on Tuesday….
Piglets! We’ve been watching and waiting and Bows finally popped! The babies are tiny, adorable, and very delicate. They each weigh about 2 pounds, compared to Mama Bows’ 500ish pound size.
They are on the petting farm loop, so if you are stopping by you’re welcome to tiptoe on over and take a peek 👀 🥰
There are a couple bottle babies too, that will be taking up residence in an igloo with a heat lamp.
