Your holiday oysters are growing right now.
We’re already looking ahead to the oysters we’ll be harvesting in November and December.
For now, they’re making the most of the time they have left before winter, doing what oysters do best: eating and growing.
Details on ordering oysters for Thanksgiving are coming soon.

One week to go.

We’re marking the end of daily hours and farm tour season next Saturday, October 10, with a full day at the Farm Store from 11–5.

Shuck-your-own oysters run from 11–2, with music from DJ Roylettuceandtomato 2–4 and the raw bar from 2–5. yetiboysfoodtruck will be here, along with fall drinks and more.

This is your last week to take a farm tour for the season, and we still have a few spots available. Grab a reservation while you can.

And although we’re wrapping up daily hours, we’re not done for the year. The Farm Store will be open Sunday, October 11, from 12–5, followed by a short break before we’re back October 24 for fall hours and sauna season, Thursday through Sunday.

Meet October’s Oyster of the Month: Saltwater Cowgirls.
What started as a college capstone project has grown into an oyster farm focused on helping people learn more about aquaculture.
Farmer Sarah Vanacore (Sarah Nicole) studied marine science at the University of Maine, Orono, and has been working in the industry for six years.
Saltwater Cowgirls are 2.5–3.5 inches, with a delicate, floral flavor and an umami finish.

We’re closing out patio season on the Damariscotta River on October 10, with a full day at the Farm Store from 11–5.

• Shuck-your-own oysters from 11–2
• Music and a raw bar from 2–5
• yetiboysfoodtruck on site
• Drink specials including spritzes, spiced margaritas, hot toddies, hot c***r, and more
• Farm tours at 11:30 and 1:30. Reservations required.

No tickets needed for the day. Just come spend it with us.

Sauna season is back October 24.

Reservations are now open for Thursday through Sunday sessions along the Damariscotta River.

Warm up in the sauna, take a cold plunge in the river, then head to the Farm Store for oysters, b**r and w**e. We’ll be open Thursday through Sunday from 10am - 4pm.

Not everything growing around here is an oyster.
Sea anemones have made themselves at home on our wet storage bays.
Over time, docks and floats provide habitat and a place for marine life to attach and grow, becoming a kind of floating reef.
There’s always something living beneath the surface.
