Prairie Center Meats Your source for locally produced beef, pork, chicken, lamb and eggs. As local farmers, we appreciate the need for quality, responsibly raised foods.

Our on-farm market has meats, honey, soap and lotion, cheeses and other products from local farmers. We have created Prairie Center Meats as a way to market the products we raise on our farm in Edgerton KS to local customers. Our farm is open for visitors and we are available to answer any questions you have about any of our products. Try our products and taste the difference local makes.

Today I turned a package of Osso Bucco cut beef shanks into delicious beef stew! After getting everything in to the pot, it went into the oven to do its thing while we did other things. It was so good, and I hesitate to confess that we ate nearly the entire pot. 😬

I’m tuckered out! This has been a great week, but fairly exhausting. Chicken has once again been stocked up (hence the exhaustion) plus more goodness from:

Yoli Tortilleria
Wooden Spoon bread

Plus we have several bags of fresh chicken wings (4 lbs) available and some beautiful produce.

Now, ironically, I’m eating pizza in my pjs. Look what I do to make sure you all have good food to eat! 😊
