Exiss/Sooner is proud to support the Cogar Volunteer Fire Department, located in Minco, Oklahoma, with a $5,000 donation to help support the department and its continued service to the surrounding communities. We had the pleasure of presenting the donation to Chief Jacob Hickey and Carol McRee, who started the department with her husband in the 90s.
This contribution is especially meaningful following the devastating Gracemont Fire in September 2026. The wildfire near Binger and Cogar was reported to have burned more than 3,000 acres and destroyed several homes. The quick response and dedication of this volunteer department played a huge role in protecting our local communities.
Exiss/Sooner would also like to recognize Safety Coordinator Ron Roper (pictured right), who served as a volunteer with the Cogar Fire Department for five years, and Buyer Planner Mandy Kamm. Ron and Mandy were instrumental in bringing this opportunity to our attention and helping coordinate the support we could provide.
Thank you to the Cogar Volunteer Fire Department and all of the volunteers who serve their communities!
