Hanson Ranch

For those of you who remember our sweet TJH Marigold, you know just how special she is to our family and our ranch. 🧡
From the memories of our kids raising and preparing her for the show ring to the tears that poured out of me when we sold her at the National Western Stock Show Highland Auction, Marigold has always held a special place in our hearts.
Yesterday, she appeared in the auction ring once again at the Southeast Highland Cattle Sale, and she did wonderfully! We couldn’t be more excited to watch her journey continue and see all that the future holds for this outstanding and stunning Highland Cow.
She was the first heifer born on our ranch, our first of many National Auction Sales, she helped shape a piece of our story, and she continues to carry the heart of our ranch with her wherever she goes. We couldn’t be prouder of our sweet Marigold! 🧡

🐂 RCC’s Ruby + Her TJH Big Chungus Bull Calf | FOR SALE

Here’s a pair worth putting on your cattle radar! Buy as a PAIR or SEPERATELY !

RCC’s Ruby is a 2023 AHCA registered heifer ( #67,582) that brings together the qualities we look for in a productive female—femininity, structure, conformation, and eye appeal. RUBY is BRED BACK to TJH Big Chungus ( #64,352) and is available with or without her bull calf. Check out her sire Beyond Hope RW's Seamus (62,133).

At her side is a 4/17/2026 bull calf sired by TJH Big Chungus, whose AHCA registration will be pending. This young bull has the look and presence to make an exciting future bull prospect, or show steer.

His sire - TJH Big Chungus is the 2024 MSHCA Annual Show Grand Champion Bull and brings a pedigree backed by three impact dams. He is a proven sire with calves already on the ground and entering the show ring.

The combination of Ruby and Big Chungus offers an exciting opportunity to add proven Highland genetics with show-ring potential to your program.

Whether you’re looking for a herd-building female, bull prospect, or steer prospect, this pair deserves a serious look.
