Wheel Line Cider

Wheel Line Cider Crafting connections through story, hospitality & cider since 2018! Our tasting grounds are open every Saturday!

We specialize in dry sparkling hard ciders created from apples grown in our orchard ad crafted by utilizing both modern and traditional techniques and styles during fermentation! Rooted in Central Washington, our cidery creates, crisp, dry ciders, made from our Ellensburg orchard, and supports community and homegrown quality above all else. We recently launched a second brand, Appeel by Wheel Line

Cider, which features tasty edible products made from the cider apple pomance leftover! Our market season begins every May and our annual open tasting season begins the first weekend of June.

September is National Recovery Month!

It may seem like a strange thing for a craft alcohol beverage producer to celebrate, however, we feel it is absolutely IMPERATIVE to acknowledge, celebrate, and bring awareness to the recovery community. Through education, sharing of and access to resources, advocacy, and the power of personal testimonies we can help break down barriers, and reduce shame and stigma.

You’ll often hear Maryanna share that she is in recovery when someone asks her what her favorite cider is. It’s an intentional overshare, and it’s one she makes in the hope that, if someone is silently struggling, they will feel less alone, and that it will plant a seed of hope, encouragement, and strength.

In a culture where drinking is often the norm, we challenge everyone to think about how we respond when someone chooses not to drink. You never know what someone may be carrying, and a simple moment of acceptance and support can mean more than you realize.

Everyone’s relationship with alcohol is different and at Wheel Line Cider there is room for everyone at our table. Whether you drink, don’t drink, are sober-curious, or are in recovery, you are welcome here, and belong here. We celebrate the artistry, agriculture, and craftsmanship that goes into making great cider while simultaneously celebrating all those who choose a life without alcohol.

Today, we celebrate Maryanna, her 7 years of sobriety, and the courage it takes to live recovery out loud.

To everyone in recovery: we see you, we support you, and we’re celebrating with you.

If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use disorder in Kittitas County and don’t know where to start Peers Rising can help direct you to resources!

A refractometer helps us check the sugar content of each apple variety. Often we look for our apples to show levels between 11-15 before harvesting them which typically yields around a 7-8.5% abv.
