WE HAVE A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT….

Welcome to our next adventures here on the farm. Many
of you know us from the pumpkins we have grown for the past
25 years. Although we have decided to get out of pumpkins, we have moved into some new adventures
this year that include sweet corn, a massive garden, white
wheat to mill for flour, and a research study with
the Med Center in Omaha. We have also decided to
rebrand the page to “Blue Silo Farms.”

This page will now be used as both an information page
about the research study we are a part of, the benefits
of milling your own wheat for bread. As well as, when sweet corn is ready in the summer and where
it can be purchased. When we have excess
vegetables from our garden for sale, we will share what we have and where those can
be purchased.

We hope you follow along and enjoy this next chapter of
our family farm and learn a few things along the way.
Oh, one more thing I almost forgot, the cows and
dogs! Don’t worry, there will still be plenty of pictures of
them to be posted throughout the year.
