🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL = BACK TO GERMS 🤧

The kids are heading back to school… and pretty soon they may be bringing home something besides homework. 😂

Now is a great time to be intentional about supporting your family’s health and nutrition — before the sniffles start.

We’ve got some of our favorites ready at Back To Natural Farm:

🌱 Protect & Defend Microgreens — broccoli + mustard
🫐 Elderberry Tonic
🔥 Fire Cider
🍋 Citrus Tonic
🥦 Super Greens Powders — Mixed & Broccoli

Everything we grow and make is done in small batches, so availability changes throughout the week.

🏡 And you don’t have to wait for market day!

We’re not back at the Farmers Market at Winona until August 29, but you can pick up right here at the farm between markets.

Message us before making the drive. We’ll let you know what’s available and set your order aside for farm pickup. 🌱

Fresh. Small batch. Back To Natural.

Truth. How many choices do you really have in the grocery store?

THIS is why you should be growing your own food, building a relationship with your local farmer(s), knowing where your food comes from, supporting local farmers.

Just in case someone needs to see calves running!

Our Jersey calves came running to greet me this morning.

They’re Here!!

Our Jersey Steers arrived!! They’re 3 months old and they’ve just been weened, now they’re ready to chillax in our pasture for a year or so.

We’ve had steers before, 2 Holsteins, one of of them died prematurely. So our first experience with cattle didn’t go so well but we’re trying it again. We’re learning as we go, so hopefully this time we have a better outcome!

Follow along with us on our journey.

Uh oh! We’re down 5 chickens in the chicken tractor. The raccoon was grabbing chickens through the wire and eventually pulling them through the wire and eating them in front of all the other chickens…not traumatic at all.

I added more wire so the holes were smaller and set a trap. Hopefully this was the only raccoon but that usually isn’t the case.
